Come out, come out, whoever you are!

I was just thinking…I wonder how many people there are out there who read my blog but never post a comment to let me know that they’re there? I do that a lot – there are several blogs I read regularly from people I don’t know, people I used to know, people I’ve met once, but it just feels weird to post a comment when I’m sure they’ll just think, “Jennifer who?”

So I’m proposing a roll-call of sorts. I want to know who is out there! (or maybe I just need a healthy dose of self-esteem.) If you are reading this today, please click on the “comment” link at the bottom of this post. If you don’t have a Google/Blogger account, just click on “other” and type in your name or pseudonym, or click on “anonymous”. Let me know who you are and where you’re from, and if you have your own blog, let me know where I can find you! (you regulars can comment, too – I may need all the comments I can get!) I’m just curious. And if you’re one of those people who I used to know, then we’re past the awkwardness and I can comment on your blog and you can comment on mine and we’re friends again.

Yay! New friends!

Oh. I hope there are new friends. Oh, Lord, please let there be new friends.

  1. Not a new friend, just an old one (old as in known-you-a-long-time, definitely not as in age). Yay, can’t wait to see the results of this. I always wonder the same thing. Hope all the lurkers come out.

  2. =) Love reading your blog!!! Miss you guys so much and I can’t believe how fast the kids are growing. Please give them big hugs for me. Sending my love, rosie

  3. I read your blog often, You don’t know me and i don’t have a blog to share. I think you are an amazing writer, and i am a stay at home mom so I can relate to many of your stories. thanks for sharing…

  4. Jennifer-It’s me, Julie. As I’ve said before, you are such a gifted writer. I’m inspired and encouraged by your “From the Corner of My Couch” entries. Just recently started checking out your blog…since you listed it in our MOPS newsletter. Love it! Julie

  5. I love reading your blog and keeping up with your family, especially since I’m so lousy at calling or emailing! Maybe one day you can write a blog for my family and me, too, since I am your creativity-challenged accountant friend! 🙂 By the way, my mom checks your blog, too, so you can count her in your list!

  6. After Mops I came home and checked out yours and the other blog that was listed in our newsletter. I don’t keep up with mine as well as you do, but I enjoy reading blogs.Stephanie H

  8. I read your blog often – you have the most ENTERTAINING stories – keep up the great work – maybe one day I will finally figure out how to set up my blog site – I am so confused by this process!!! ~ Diana

  9. Jennifer, I don’t know how you keep up with 3 kids, a husband, a house, a blog and a scrapbook or two. As I have discovered in reading your scrapbooks and now your blog, you ARE and AMAZING and GIFTED writer. Keep up the encouraging posts. I just have to laugh when I read them. Michelle

  10. Hey sweetie pie,Don’t worry it’s me…your loving hubby. I’m getting better about reading your blog. I love seeing you use your giftedness to relate to others, make sense of life, and draw closer to God. You bless and amaze me daily with all you do to keep our family going. You know that I’ve said this a lot recently, but I don’t know if I could love you more or be more in love with you.ILYATWTTMAB,Your amazed husband, Michael

  11. Hi Jennifer I started from the beginning (or rather the end tonight, 6/9) and here I am an hour later and almost 5 months earlier 🙂 I am hooked and loving it. And also a little bit paranoid about comma usage.
