An Honest-to-Goodness Finished Project

I am the world’s worst about getting a great project idea, collecting all the supplies…and then letting them sit in a pile somewhere on the floor or in a closet for MONTHS without ever completing said project. So when I actually do finish a project, it is well worth documenting!

I have a huge collection of notes and cards and pictures, and I didn’t know what to do with them. So I created a big bulletin board in my craft room! We hung foam board – about 6 pieces, I think – and then covered them with two rolls of cork board. (We hung the foam board before Christmas, bought the cork board at the same time, and just got it all put together last weekend!) I hot-glued black satin ribbon around the edges and hung all of my stuff this afternoon. I’m so excited!

(To give you some size perspective, the largest pictures on the board are 10×13. The table in front of it is about 6 feet long, and that’s a doorway to the bathroom next to it.) Click on the picture to see better detail!

Now if I need a boost of self-esteem, I can go up to my craft room and read all the notes and cards that tell me how wonderful I am…

…like this one!
