The Church is Not a Building

…but even so, my heart is broken over the damage done by floodwaters to the building where we worshiped for four years. Where I directed two musicals (a highlight of my life, to say the least). Where Michael sang on the Vocal Team. Where Griffin was dedicated. Where Meghan was an AWANA Cubbie. Where she attended VBS for the first time. Where I met each Wednesday morning with other moms. Where we developed precious relationships. Where we grew in new ways and learned new things about God because of the gold-standard teaching.

This is our church today, and the waters are expected to rise even further through this Tuesday. Please pray for the Parkview family.

  1. That is heartbreaking. Although it is devasting right now, God can and will make good from it in ways we can not understand right now. I am lifting the church and family in prayers now đŸ™‚
